ALCPT
The American Language Course Placement Test (ALCPT) is a proficiency test of listening and reading comprehension in English. The test can be used to screen students for readiness to take the English Comprehension Level (ELC) test, which is the official test used by the United States government to measure the English language proficiency of non-native English speakers who are candidates for US military training.
The test is presented in two parts: a listening section and a reading section. Both parts contain four-option multiple-choice items that test some aspect of grammar, vocabulary, and reading. The duration of the test is a total of 56 minutes.
